Welcome to Sailing to Tokyo 2020! We begin this first episode by travelling to Sorento in Melbourne, Australia, where the 2020 RS:X Windsurfing World Championships took place. A fleet of 116 sailors from 31 nations gathered in Sorento Sailing Couta Boat Club to challenge for the prestigious titles. Later on, we examine how the Coronavirus pandemic affected an athlete's routine. With the majority of the countries instituting some sort of stay-at-home order, public gatherings of any kind were banned, and numerous sport events were postponed and cancelled.
