Oslo - Selina Meyer ist die (fiktive) Vizepräsidentin der USA. Damit hat sie zwar eine Machtposition, aber keinerlei Befugnisse. Sie muss sich mit dem alltäglichen Wahnsinn in Washington herumschlagen, unzählige öffentliche Auftritte meistern und wartet ständig auf den Anruf des Präsidenten.
