Carrie hatte sich vorgenommen, die Affäre mit dem verheirateten Big zu beenden. Daraus wird aber nichts. Zu allem Übel lässt sie sich in Bigs Wohnung von dessen Frau Natasha überraschen. In dem Durcheinander verletzt sich Natasha und Carrie muss sie in die Klinik bringen. Samantha will ihrem Freund zuliebe einen Aidstest machen. Erst jetzt wird ihr klar, wie leichtsinnig sie all die Jahre war.
