Chia is the home break to kitesurfing World Champion Airton Cozzolino. He has decided to invite seven of the world's best riders to compete in the 1st ever strapless kitesurf event. The picturesque background of Sardinia, one of the most beautiful islands in the world, is the chosen scenery for this event.Over the next five days, kite surfers from around the world will travel to the southwest of this island to compete in a strapless, no feet attached to the board, competition. Judges will be scoring on freestyle, wave riding and different types of tricks to decide who will be the champion of this unique sport.
